This week we watched Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome

1. Who was the director of the film? What other movies has this director produced?

George Miller was the director of this film, and is known for directing the other Mad Max films, Happy Feet 1 and 2, and the Twilight Zone movie.

2. Artistically, what did you like about the film?

This movie had some great cinematography and set pieces. It is also very well lit, even though most of the movie takes place outside (and in the desert) making it hard to get consistent lighting for each shot.

3. Who runs BaterTown?

Tina Turner’s character “Aunty” is the Law in BarterTown, however Master runs the electricity in BarterTown, which keeps the town afloat.
